What: Virginia vs. Louisville

When: Friday, 4 p.m., Saturday, 1 p.m. and Sunday, 12 p.m.
The Skinny: With a seven game winning streak to boast, the Virginia softball team heads to Louisville for its last ACC regular series.
Not only is the winning streak on the line for the Cavaliers (21-29, 8-13 ACC), but also a spot in the ACC tournament is dependent on the outcome of the series.
Virginia is coming off of an 8-0 run-rule victory against George Washington, which was the 100th career win for Coach Joanna Hardin. In the win, senior catcher Katie Park hit three-for-three and collected two RBIs, while junior first-baseman Danni Ingraham went three-for-four and had three RBIs. Meanwhile, sophomore pitcher Erika Osherow picked up her 14th win of the season from the pitching mound while getting the clean sheet for the Cavaliers.
Louisville (26-17, 9-7 ACC) enters the game after just getting edged out by Florida State — who is undefeated in ACC play — in a 5-4 game.
The Cardinals are led on offense by junior outfielder Nicole Pufahl, who has a .372 batting average, seven home runs and 37 RBIs.
The first game of the crucial series is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, and will be followed by afternoon games Saturday and Sunday.

Men’s Lacrosse
What: ACC Showcase — Virginia vs. Penn
Where: Durham, N.C.
When: Saturday, 12 p.m.
The Skinny: The Virginia men's lacrosse team wraps its regular season up Sunday at the ACC showcase. After failing to qualify for the ACC Championship, the Cavaliers (8-6, 0-4 ACC) will instead play in the ACC Showcase in Durham, N.C.
Virginia enters Saturday as winners of three of its last five games. The two losses — to Duke and North Carolina — were decisive and ultimately the reason the Cavaliers failed to advance to postseason play this season.
Penn (6-5, 3-3 Ivy) had a respectable season, and their 3-3 record in Ivy League play ensures the Quakers will be playing in their conference tournament. Saturday's game will be a rematch of the Quakers narrow 11-10 victory over the Cavaliers from Feb. 25.
Virginia’s season-opening win over then-No. 6 Loyola had many fans hopeful for a successful season. While there were exciting wins and close losses, the Cavaliers' 0-4 record in conference play means they will have to wait till Sunday evening for ESPNU’s 2017 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Selection Special to find out whether their season will continue on or end.

Men’s Tennis
What: ACC Championship Quarterfinals — No. 2 seed Virginia vs. No. 7 seed Louisville
Where: Rome, Ga.
When: Friday, 10 a.m.
The Skinny: The Virginia men’s tennis team ended a successful regular season ranked third in the ITA tennis rankings. The Cavaliers (25-1, 11-1 ACC) have their sights set on bigger goals however, as the two-time defending national champions will look to make it three in a row this spring. Postseason play begins on Friday with the ACC Championship tournament, where the Cavaliers are the No. 2 seed.
Virginia enters Friday on an eight-match victory streak, winning in straight sets in its last four matches. The same cannot be said for Louisville (20-8, 6-6 ACC), however, as the Cardinals dropped four of their last six matches of the regular season. Despite Louisville’s struggles towards the end of the season, the team was able to prevail 4-3 over No. 10 seed Notre Dame in the second round of the Championship on Thursday.
Friday’s match will be the second between Virginia and Louisville this year. The Cavaliers took the first match in decisive fashion, winning 7-0 at Louisville Feb. 5. The winner will play again at 10 a.m. Saturday against the winner of No. 3 North Carolina and No. 6 Florida State.
