It was a strong week of basketball for Malcolm Brogdon, Joe Harris and Mike Scott, who saw a big bump in playing time this week and delivered some solid performances. Brogdon continued his efficient shooting performances to keep the Bucks atop the Eastern Conference. Harris did the same, with the exception of Wednesday night’s game against the Wizards. Anderson continues to remain on the bench, unable to work his way into the rotation. Brogdon deserves special mention this week, as he scored over 20 points multiple times this week and made several crucial baskets down the stretch against Sacramento Wednesday night to give the Bucks their sixth straight win.
Joe Harris, shooting guard, Brooklyn Nets
A week in review:
Harris had another solid week, as his breakout season continued this week with another string of strong performances. He has been shooting incredibly well lately, shooting 71 percent in both Saturday’s narrow win over the Hornets and Monday’s victory over San Antonio. Harris scored 19 points in 33 minutes Saturday, shooting 5-7 from the field and 3-4 from three-point range. He notched a solid 15 points in 31 minutes Monday. Wednesday’s weak performance was uncharacteristic, as Harris shot just 29 percent from the field against the Wizards. Wednesday’s game, however, is an outlier as Harris has had a strong month of February. Harris and the Nets will look to bounce back Friday against a struggling Hornets team.

A week in review:
The Bucks continued their championship-caliber play this week, as the first-place team in the East swept all of its opponents. Brogdon played exceptionally all week, especially in Wednesday’s overtime win against the Kings. Against Minnesota, he scored 16 points, shooting 46 percent. In Monday’s win over Chicago, he put up 22 points and shot 47 percent. His performance Wednesday, however, was by far his most impressive. Not only did Brogdon finish the game with 25 points, shooting an outstanding 82 percent from the field, but he hit a decisive three-pointer with less than 20 seconds left in overtime and then iced the game with two free throws.

A week in review:
Scott, after being traded several weeks ago, seems to be settling in nicely on his new team. He experienced a significant boost in minutes this week, which led to two solid outings. Despite the 76ers’ loss to the Trail Blazers Saturday, Scott scored 15 points in his 30 minutes of playing time, shooting 62.5 percent from the field. Scott continued to benefit from increased minutes Monday in a narrow victory over the Pelicans. He scored 12 points in 31 minutes of total playing time, with all his points coming from three-point range, from which he shot 80 percent. Overall, Scott seems to be carving out a nice role for himself on his new team.

A week in review:
Anderson managed to get in during the last few minutes of Atlanta’s victory against Phoenix Saturday. In 6 minutes, he scored 2 points, shooting 33 percent from the field. He did not play in Monday’s loss to the Rockets or Wednesday’s overtime win against the Timberwolves. Anderson simply hasn’t been able to make his way into the rotation, and a change of scenery might be in order for next season.
