Good Clear Sound performed a series of slam poems discussing childhood experiences, gender identity and romance. Other poems focused on their the black experience in America and spoke about the group’s feelings regarding stereotyping, discrimination and gentrification.
Sir Peter Westmacott (above) spoke at a public event at Hotel C, put on by the University Center for Politics and International Residential College. He covered a swath of topics, including economic policies and counterterrorism efforts.
“We can’t do it in an hour, but we can begin the discussion and begin to mitigate some of the views felt on our grounds," Kalainoff said.
