I RECEIVED various responses to and critiques of my Sept. 28 column, "Lines in the sand." I have benefited immensely from the lively discussion that has followed, as it has allowed me to learn more about the various viewpoints in the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict.

ON WEDNESDAY, Sept. 14, Students for Peace and Justice in Palestine (SPJP) painted "Palestine Deserves a State" on Beta Bridge.

ONE HARDLY would deny that for many students, coming to live in a university community offers opportunities previously unavailable to them and perhaps unavailable in other circumstances.
