The Cavaliers will take on an inconsistent William & Mary (5-6, 2-1 CAA) team Tuesday. Senior midfielder Lucy Hyams will look to continue her strong play.

What: Virginia vs. William & Mary

Where: Williamsburg, Va.

When: Tuesday, 5 p.m.

The Skinny: The Cavaliers had their four-game winning streak snapped this past weekend when they lost to No. 3 North Carolina. The top-10 matchup was highly competitive, with the Tar Heels (11-2, 4-1 ACC) winning 3-2 in overtime.

Senior midfielder Lucy Hyams and junior midfielder Tara Vittese again led the attack for No. 10 Virginia (8-5, 2-2 ACC). Both had a goal and an assist for the game. Fifth-year senior midfielder Emma Bozek scored the game-winning goal for North Carolina.

The Cavaliers will play an inconsistent William & Mary (5-6, 2-1 CAA) team Tuesday. The Tribe are coming off of a 3-1 win against Northeastern. Later this week, Virginia will play a huge home game against the fourth ranked team in the country, Syracuse.

With only six games left in the regular season, Virginia will look to make a strong statement heading into tournament action.
