Virginia looks to continue its successful season with two road matchups in the next three days. The Cavaliers (11-2, 1-0 ACC) will take the mat at Duke Friday before travelling to face Old Dominion two days later. Virginia is currently riding a four-match win streak, with the last win coming against No. 14 Edinboro.

Following a weekend that coach Dennis Hohenshelt described as “embarrassing,” the Virginia volleyball team is hoping to bounce back against rival Virginia Tech Wednesday. The Cavaliers were swept twice last weekend, spurring Hohenshelt to challenge them to improve their effort and elevate their play.

The No. 2 Virginia women’s soccer team has had a perfect season so far, overpowering seven straight opponents. But all those games have been at home, and now the Cavaliers must play three consecutive ACC games on the road.

The No. 4 Virginia women’s soccer team could not have opened the season any better. In starting the season undefeated, the Cavaliers tallied 25 total goals while only allowing three, as they dominated all six non-conference opponents they faced. Virginia has already defeated two teams that were ranked in the top 10 in then-No. 9 Santa Clara and then-No. 7 Penn State, by scores of 4-0 and 5-1, respectively.
