After suffering its first loss of the season over the weekend, the No. 3 Virginia men’s basketball team rebounded with a 68-45 win against Wake Forest Tuesday night. The Cavaliers (17-1, 5-1 ACC) had five players reach double figures in a game in which they never trailed to the Demon Deacons (8-10, 1-5 ACC).

The No. 4 Virginia men’s basketball team is gearing up for its ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchup against No. 24 Maryland Wednesday night. The challenge pits two of college basketball’s best conferences against each other, tallying the wins each conference racks up in the 14 games played. The Cavaliers (6-0) have not lost their individual game in the challenge since 2013.

In the final of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament, No. 4 Virginia defeated No. 25 Wisconsin 53-46 to leave the Bahamas as champions. The Cavaliers (6-0) defeated Middle Tennessee and Dayton in the earlier rounds to reach the finals against the previously undefeated Badgers (6-1).
