For the 36th consecutive season, the Virginia men’s soccer team is gearing up to play in the NCAA Tournament Sunday. After earning the No. 12 seed in the bracket, the Cavaliers enjoyed a first round bye, and will now host Vermont in the second round. Winning Sunday would advance the Cavaliers (10-3-5, 3-2-3 ACC) into the third round, which would outdo last year’s second-round exit from the tournament.

With the regular season now completed, the Virginia field hockey team will begin its quest for the ACC Championship with a quarterfinal matchup against Boston College.

With the start of the season three weeks away, the Virginia men’s basketball team will partake in the second annual Pepsi Blue-White scrimmage Sunday afternoon at John Paul Jones Arena. This intrasquad scrimmage will be an opportunity for fans to witness a Cavalier team that has undergone many changes since it was last on display in the NCAA Tournament.

The No. 16 Virginia women’s soccer team returns to Charlottesville after back-to-back away games against the ACC’s top-two teams, No. 11 Notre Dame and No. 4 Duke.

Over the weekend the No. 8 Cavaliers (8-2-2, 1-1-2 ACC) played No. 13 North Carolina to a 1-1 draw. Although Virginia led for most of the game, the Tar Heels (6-2-3, 1-1-2 ACC) scored the tying goal in the 82nd minute to send the game into double overtime.
