Out of all the former Cavaliers in the NBA, Philadelphia 76ers forward Mike Scott was most impressive this week. His 22 point showing Saturday against Golden State was the highlight of the week. Milwaukee Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon also played very well. The Bucks, however, are in a two-game slump, despite being the first team in the NBA to clinch a playoff berth with their league-best 48-16 record. Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Harris had a decent week, and shooting guard and small forward Justin Anderson continues to play a reserve role for the Hawks.

It was a strong week of basketball for Malcolm Brogdon, Joe Harris and Mike Scott, who saw a big bump in playing time this week and delivered some solid performances. Brogdon continued his efficient shooting performances to keep the Bucks atop the Eastern Conference. Harris did the same, with the exception of Wednesday night’s game against the Wizards. Anderson continues to remain on the bench, unable to work his way into the rotation. Brogdon deserves special mention this week, as he scored over 20 points multiple times this week and made several crucial baskets down the stretch against Sacramento Wednesday night to give the Bucks their sixth straight win.

After an exciting NBA All-Star weekend that saw Virginia alum Joe Harris win the three-point contest, three of the four Cavaliers in the NBA returned to action on Thursday night. Harris and the Nets (30-30) came up short against the Trail Blazers, but Malcolm Brogdon played a crucial role in the Bucks’ (44-14) close win over the Celtics and Mike Scott’s 76ers (38-21) emerged victorious against the Heat. Justin Anderson and the Hawks (19-40) returned to action on Friday night against the Pistons, and lost.
