John “Parker” Staples, a nine-year-old with lymphoma and longtime baseball fan, has spent the past two weeks making memories as a member of the Virginia baseball team.
A lot of the time, diving gets forgotten in casual conversation. But the consistently strong performances of Virginia's divers, especially the women, have been a major part of their success this season.
The No. 7 Virginia women’s swim and dive team won its 10th ACC Championships in the past 11 years this weekend in Greensboro, N.C.
The women’s swimming and diving team finished the regular season undefeated in dual meets heading into next month’s ACC Championships and the NCAA Championships in March.
DeSorbo will be moving from one ACC team to another, as he is coming off six seasons as NC State’s associate head coach.
