Three men attack 20-year-old woman on Rt. 29

A 20-year-old North Carolina woman was reportedly abducted, raped and robbed Saturday, Sept. 14 at approximately 9 a.m. while walking in the 1000 block of Seminole Trail on Route 29 North, slightly past Hydraulic Road.

"She was walking near the bus stop when she was approached and attacked by three males," Albemarle County Spokeswoman Lee Catlin said.

The assailants forcibly took the victim to a nearby wooded area where she was "sexually assaulted and robbed of an undisclosed amount of money," according to a press release issued Monday evening.
