Dean Davis takes on new position

Assistant Dean of Students Pablo Davis will be moving to a new position, effective in five weeks. Davis also is editor for Calendario, a weekly Hispanic, Latino and Latin American interest e-mail bulletin.

Davis will serve as director of the new South Atlantic Humanities Center at the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities. The Center is one of eight such centers founded by the National Endowment for the Humanities. It will cover the coastal states from Virginia to Florida as well as Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and will seek to preserve and share the culture of that region.
