Bank robbers plead guilty to March heist

Ricardo Lee, 48, and Troy Banks, 33, both pleaded guilty to robbing the Wachovia bank at 10th and High Streets March 11. The two men were arrested after stealing $12,000. At the Dec. 17 sentencing, Lee may receive life in prison with no possibility of parole and a $500,000 fine. Banks, the driver of the getaway car, faces a $125,000 fine and 12.5 years in prison.
