Clemson 39, GA Tech 3 -- Clemson quarterback Charlie Whitehurst threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns in the Tigers' road win.

NC State 49, Texas Tech 21 -- The Wolfpack defense allowed 681 total yards, but N.C. State won easily and evened their season record at 2-2.

Maryland 34, West Virginia 7 -- Injury-plagued Terrapin running Bruce Perry returned to run for two touchdowns in Maryland's blowout win.

Wake Forest 34, E. Carolina 16 -- Three different Wake ball carriers ran in touchdowns as the Deacons rebounded from last week's loss to Purdue.
