Illinois professor to speak on post-war housing boom

Dianne Harris will give a lecture on post- World War II houses and their role in forming American culture Thursday, Nov. 6.

Harris teaches the history of architecture, urbanism and landscape architecture in the Landscape Architecture Department at the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign.

The talk, entitled "Constructing Identity: Race, Class and the Ordinary Postwar House, 1945-60" will be held in Campbell Hall Rm 160 at 6 pm.
