Albemarle County Police investigate potential homicide near Crozet exit

Albemarle County police and investigators received a tip at 9:50 a.m. yesterday that a deceased Hispanic male was lying dead inside a vehicle parked in a private driveway.

The car was just off Yancey Mill Lane near the Crozet exit of Interstate 64.

Officials have not yet determined the identity and cause of death of the deceased. The relevant officers were not available to comment yesterday, but according to a press release, the investigation still is underway and police will release additional details as they become available.
