Steriods not the wonder drugs some think they are

Remember when you thought getting sick was a good thing?I used to pray for minor illness during elementary school so that I could curl up on the couch and get waited on, hand and foot.

Oh the irony! Now that we're old enough and busy enough to really need such a break, we tend to be all by our lonesome without a compassionate family member within the nearest 100 miles.

It's at university that one learns there aren't many things worse than being sick and alone

The University’s Orientation and Transition programs are vital to supporting first year and transfer students throughout their entire transition to college. But much of their work goes into planning summer orientation sessions. Funlola Fagbohun, associate director of the first year experience, describes her experience working with OTP and how she strives to create a welcoming environment for first-years during orientation and beyond. Along with her role as associate director, summer Orientation leaders and OTP staff work continually to provide a safe and memorable experience for incoming students.
