Work of newly-formed Virginia Stone Carvers Guild to be featured at University

The artspace committee of the University Programs Council opens a new exhibit today featuring work from the Virginia Stone Carvers Guild. The exhibit will remain open through Jan. 9, 2004.

The newly-formed guild is "continuing the tradition of stone-carving in both representational and abstract forms," according to a press release issued by University Relations last week.

An opening reception will be held this Thursday from 5-8 p.m.
