Seven Society donates $777.77 to Cancer Center

As a contribution to the University Cancer Center's ongoing research for a melanoma vaccine, the Seven Society announced its donation of $777.77 on Nov. 18, according to a University Medical Center media relations representative.

The recipient of the society's donation was Dr. Peyton Taylor, medical director for the University Cancer Center.

The Seven Society wrote Taylor a letter informing him of the donation and thanking him for his achievements in cancer research and patient care.

The letter cites the donation as a sign of support for a University law student and former undergraduate who recently lost a family member to melanoma cancer.
