Yesterday's news brief "University professor elected to National Academy of Engineering" incorrectly quoted an NAE release as reporting Prof. Nicholas J. Garber was chosen "for [his] significant contributions to the design and analysis of algorithms and for leadership in computer science and engineering." The release actually credited Garber for his work in "national and international engineering education and research in traffic operations and safety"
