U.S. Supreme Court Justice to speak at U.Va. Law School Conference

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer will present the keynote address at the Fifth Annual Conference on Public Service and the Law at the University Feb. 28, according to University Relations.

The student-run conference to be held Feb. 27 and 28 will host attorneys and government officials who will discuss legal issues relating to social justice, according to University Relations.

Panels will discuss topics that include President Bush's No Child Left Behind Act, abortion litigation, the regulation of animals used in research and how to assess privacy interests and security concerns after Sept. 11, 2001.

The conference also will include workshops to help students find employment.
