THE OVERARCHING ideology of our day calls University students to rise above individual idiosyncrasies and opinions in order to engage with and learn from those who are different from us. Yet University students, progressive as we are, cannot help but hold on to some of our prejudices, especially when asked to embrace students whose political creed opposes our own.
