The Managing Board does not anticipate cutting any Friday publications during the next year except near certain holidays and breaks

Today marks the last Friday the print edition of The Cavalier Daily will not appear on newsstands as part of a cost-savings plan put in place by the previous Managing Board. Of the 136 issues planned for the 2009-10 academic year, five were removed from the production calendar. The Cavalier Daily online edition continued to offer news and sports content those Fridays without a hard-copy paper.
