Perfect season start at Auburn Tournament shows starting pitching strength prior to midweek matin

The No. 10 Virginia baseball team could not have asked for a much better start to the season at the Auburn Tournament in Alabama this past weekend. Led by impressive starting pitching, the Cavaliers downed Alabama-Birmingham, No. 23 Auburn and Arkansas State during three consecutive days of tournament play. Virginia (3-0) cannot rest on its laurels, however, as it opens its home schedule against familiar foe VMI in a midweek matin

But much of their work goes into planning summer orientation sessions. Funlola Fagbohun, associate director of the first year experience, describes her experience working with OTP and how she strives to create a welcoming environment for first-years during orientation and beyond. Along with her role as associate director, summer Orientation leaders and OTP staff work continually to provide a safe and memorable experience for incoming students.
