Six people were detained after members of the Albemarle County and Charlottesville SWAT team conducted a raid on 210 Maury Ave., part of the Cavalier Court Apartment complex, on Wednesday.

According to a press release from the CPD, the six arrested — two women and four men aged 18 to 22 — were detained because of items found during the search, and were given charges including the possession of and intent to sell cocaine and the possession of firearms while possessing narcotics.

The search warrant allowing for the execution of the raid is under seal, Charlottesville Police Department Lieutenant Steve Upman said, so what was found in the apartment is not being released at this time.

The arrests are related to several current community investigations, according to the press release, but the police will not yet release information on which investigations they relate to.

Representatives for the Cavalier Court Apartments and Charlottesville Police Department declined to comment.
