The No. 19 Virginia men’s soccer team will face Florida International at home Tuesday night.

The Cavaliers (2-0-2) were initially scheduled to host Notre Dame on Friday, but that match was postponed due to the severe weather that was expected to be brought by Hurricane Florence.

Last Tuesday, Virginia beat Marshall 1-0 at home on the strength of the first collegiate goal by freshman forward Cabrel Happi Kamseu — a 44th-minute strike from outside the box.

The Cavaliers have only conceded one goal this season, as sophomore goalkeeper Colin Shutler has been named ACC Defensive Player of the Week twice. Shutler is fourth in the country in save percentage, stopping 94.7 percent of the shots he has faced.

Virginia is one of 16 undefeated teams remaining in the NCAA, and one of only two in the ACC, along with Wake Forest. The Cavaliers hold the seventh lowest goals-against average in the nation, with a mark of 0.23. However, Virginia has only scored three goals of their own this year en route to two draws.

The match against Florida International (2-4) kicks off at Klöckner Stadium at 7 p.m., and will conclude a three-game home stand for Virginia. The Cavaliers will resume ACC play Friday night on the road against Syracuse.
