With such a wide array of lecturers — ranging from Guy Lopez of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe, a group which has roots originating in South Dakota, speaking on Indigenous history to Monticello Guide Brandon Dillard offering insight into Jefferson’s life — students report finding themselves constantly reinventing their conceptions of the history of the University.
