The University Art Museum will host an honorary gala event Friday as a tribute to Ruth and Robert Cross, museum supporters and activists for the past 30 years, according to a University press release.

Casteen III at Carr's Hill, a presentation with several guest speakers and a dinner in the museum's Main Gallery.

The gala also commemorates the museum's 30th anniversary since its reopening in 1974, in which Ruth Cross played an integral role.
