Virginia Volleyball Falls to Georgia Tech, 3-0, in semifinals of ACC tournament

Georgia Tech, the top seed in the ACC tournament, defeated the Virginia volleyball team in straight sets (30-23, 30-20, 30-20) in the semifinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament Sunday.

Senior Paige Davis led Virginia with 11 kills, four digs and three block assists in the match. Junior middle Alexis Geocaris also had 10 kills, five blocks and three digs in the loss. Senior middle Shannon Boyle contributed six kills with two blocks and two digs. Freshman outside-hitter Lindsay Osco also added five kills and eight digs.

Virginia now stands at 25-9 on the season now while Georgia Tech finished the weekend at 30-2 after falling to Maryland in the title game.
