2004 Virginia Film Festival sees huge attendance gains

The 17th annual Virginia Film Festival, which featured a wide variety of premieres and the presence of actors and directors such as Sandra Bullock, saw a 54 percent increase in ticket sales over last year's festival, according to an announcement posted on the festival's Web site. Attendance also increased 14 percent over last year.
