Women's golf finishes in top half of weekend tournament

The Virginia women's golf team bagged an eighth-place finish in the 17-team Bryan National Collegiate Tournament held in Brown Summit, N.C last weekend. Sophomore Leah Wigger led all five Cavalier players at the event with a score of 226 (+10), capturing 13th place overall. Fellow Cavalier Lindsay Robinson shot Virginia's best individual final-round score with a 75 to close at 238. The next Virginia match pits the Cavaliers against conference foes at the postseason ACC Championship in Charlotte starting April 15.
