Weekend's HONOR TRIAL RECAP

One undergraduate student in the Engineering School was found guilty and three undergraduates in the Engineering School were found not guilty of unauthorized collaboration in an upper-level course by a panel of random students. Two students were found not guilty on act or intent, and one student was found not guilty of seriousness. The acts were discovered by a student, a TA and a professor, and a student reported the cases.

Also on Sunday, an undergraduate student in the Engineering School was found guilty of unauthorized collaboration in an upper-level course by a panel of random students. The act was discovered by two TAs, who then reported the case.

The Honor Committee is currently investigating 22 cases and has nine trials and five appeals pending.
