The most interesting mascot

I can't be the only person to have noticed: The man riding the horse at the beginning of Virginia football games looks just like the Dos Equis Man.

Can we really be sure this is a coincidence? Now, I'm not saying he actually is the Dos Equis Man. I'm just asking questions.
