McAuliffe, Bruner to speak at 2015 Commencement

Sullivan makes final speaker decision

Governor McAuliffe convened a summit to address the issue of sexual violence on college campuses last week. 

Gov. Terry McAuliffe and Darden School Dean Bob Bruner will serve as commencement speakers for the Class of 2015, the University announced Thursday morning.

McAuliffe will speak at Final Exercises for the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences Saturday, May 16.

Bruner will speak at Final Exercises for all other schools Sunday, May 17.

The speakers were selected by a mixed committee of University faculty and students. The selections committee brainstorms a list of speakers and the final selection is made by University President Teresa Sullivan.
