The Commerce School released admission decisions last week determining the makeup of the Commerce School B.S. program for the fall of 2015. Out of 547 applicants, 246 were offered admission, 137 were deferred and 164 were declined.

The program will ultimately offer admission to 320-330 students after the admission committee reviews the 137 deferred students again at the end of the spring semester. Deferred applicants will be able to submit an additional essay and take part in an interview to give the committee a better understanding of their communication skills.

Admitted students averaged a cumulative GPA of 3.76 and a GPA of 3.75 among the 10 prerequisite courses. Applicants must also have completed at least 54 credit hours.
