After a difficult 2021-22 season, the Virginia volleyball team is looking to continue rebuilding in its second season under the command of Coach Shannon Wells. Despite a key departure, the Cavaliers bring in a number of new faces that will hopefully put the team in position to win multiple games in a fiercely competitive ACC that has seen them win just one game over the past two seasons.

Coming off their second-place finish at the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference championships in early February, the No. 7 Virginia women’s squash traveled to Boston, Mass., to compete in the Howe Cup — the College Squash Association Women’s Team Championships — for the first time in program history.

Fresh off of their third consecutive title, the No. 7 Virginia men’s squash team (12-8) traveled to Philadelphia, Pa. to conclude its season of team competitions with three matches in the Potter Cup — the College Squash Association Men’s Team Championships.

Coming off of a slew of recent victories in the form of a four-game winning streak, the Virginia men’s squash team geared up for a challenging MASC tournament. The tournament, which began last Friday with pool play concluded on Sunday with a championship final.

The Virginia men’s and women’s squash teams concluded their regular season schedules with a dominant set of weekend matches at home at the McArthur Squash Center last weekend. The two teams combined to sweep all six of their matches.

The No. 19 ranked Virginia field hockey team will travel to the L.R. Hill Sports Complex in Norfolk, Va. Sunday to face off against No. 17 Old Dominion. The Cavaliers (7-5, 2-2 ACC) will be looking to avenge their 2-1 loss Sept. 26 when the Monarchs (9-3, 3-1 BIG EAST) scored twice in the final 10 minutes to complete a come-from-behind victory.
