The Honor Committee voted unanimously Sunday to create deadlines for students in the Contributory Mental Disorder process to meet. This is the second in a series of reforms to the CMD proposal following the removal of ‘Admission of Act’ in last week’s meeting.

James Edward Ryan was unanimously elected as the ninth president of the University by the Board of Visitors Friday. The dean of the Harvard Graduate School of Education has been hired in the culmination of a special committee’s eight-month search by for University President Teresa Sullivan’s successor. Ryan’s term will begin in October 2018.

A crowd of more than 100 people gathered around the still-shrouded statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee in downtown Charlottesville Monday to begin a march set to end in Washington, D.C. as part of an effort to denounce recent violence in Charlottesville. The March to Confront White Supremacy followed local clergy members and leaders who sang as they made their way down Preston Avenue.
