Funding campaigns shift focus after attack attacks

Colleges and universities around the nation currently are grappling with how to solicit alumni donations in light of terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. As the mourning process continues, most institutions of higher learning have placed fund-raising on the back burner. The University, in particular, is in a precarious position because of its proximity to the Pentagon.

Campaign for Dance works to establish minor, major program

With the addition of a new dance course this semester, individuals involved in the University's Campaign for Dance said they remain optimistic about establishing a permanent addition to the University's performing arts offerings. University officials have spent over a year and a half debating the addition of a major or minor dance program in the College.
