Funding campaigns shift focus after attack attacks
By Kelly Mullen | September 24, 2001Colleges and universities around the nation currently are grappling with how to solicit alumni donations in light of terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. As the mourning process continues, most institutions of higher learning have placed fund-raising on the back burner. The University, in particular, is in a precarious position because of its proximity to the Pentagon.
