Ultimately, Dickerson said during the Aug. 8 meeting that the decision to draft this resolution was not easy but was necessary so as to fulfill Student Council’s role.
All University students are required to be medically insured, but the University student plan is only required for students who do not have other, valid health insurance.
The resolution requests that five students be included on the search committee, and that the Board of Visitors provides key updates to the student body throughout the search process.

Utilization rates refer to the amount of money actually used within the allocated budget — increasing these rates to prevent wasted money has been a primary goal of Student Council.
