Longo said no injuries had been reported as of 7:46 a.m. Friday. He provided an update to the case at 10:44 a.m. saying the suspect has been located and identified.

The suspect, forty-year-old James Robert Allen, remains at large.
According to the alert, police initially responded to reports of gunshots heard on Grove Street, located near the University Hospital. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered one male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
