Virginia baseball picked to finish seventh in the ACC

The 2003 ACC Preseason Baseball Coaches Poll was announced yesterday with Virginia slated to finish seventh in the ACC. Georgia Tech is the favorite to win the ACC Championship with the Yellow Jackets receiving 77 points in the poll, including six first place votes. Georgia Tech was followed by a promising Florida State squad, Wake Forest, Clemson andNorth Carolina rounded out the top five slots.

Finishing just one point ahead of Virginia, NC State took the sixth slot, with Duke and Maryland in eighth and ninth.
