Virginia in second after first day of ACC championships

At the close of the first day of events in the ACC women's swimming and diving championships, Virginia had racked up a total of 195 points. Their score leaves them second only to Florida State who, with 207, will take their lead into today's events.

The Cavaliers will need to perform well to maintain or advance their standings as and North Carolina with 183 follow them. The Tarheels maintain a 68-point lead over the rest of the field.

Funlola Fagbohun, associate director of the first year experience, describes her experience working with OTP and how she strives to create a welcoming environment for first-years during orientation and beyond.
