Maryland 26, N.C. State 24

Nick Novak's field goal with 23 seconds remaining put Maryland ahead for good and capped a streak of 16 unanswered points for the Terrapins. Wolfpack quarterback Philip Rivers threw for 273 yards and a touchdown in his final home game.

Duke 30, UNC 22

The Blue Devils led from start to finish, jumping out to a 23-0 lead and allowing only one Tar Heel first down in the first half. Chris Douglas racked up 119 rushing yards and one TD to pace Duke's ground game.

Clemson 63, South Carolina 17

Tiger quarterback Charlie Whitehurst threw for four TDs, and running back Chad Jasmin ran in four more scores from the one yard out to provide the bulk of Clemson's offense. The win puts Clemson in line for a bigger bowl game and may have saved coach Tommy Bowden's job.
