Virginia wrestling finishes strong at Body Bar Invitational

The Cavaliers were led by Scott Moore, a transfer from Penn State who picked up the title for the 141-pound division, and four other Virginia wrestlers who placed in the top six for their respective weight classes.

Junior Zach Freday went 3-1 and took a close second place in the 184-pound class. Also proving to be once consistent this season, Tim Foley and Paul Bjorlo each went 4-1 and finished third in the 165-pound and 157-pound weight classes respectively.

Michael Gorgan rounded out Virginia's top five with a sixth place finish in the 174-pound division.

Several other Cavalier's took victories in the meet. Andrew Leffler went 2-2 in the heavyweight division with Byron Dunlap also going 2-2 at the 133-pound weight class. Ryan Stewart, Paul Dunstan and Drew Michelotti also posted a victory in their respective weight classes.

Virginia will next compete in the 2003 Mat Town Invitational in Lock Haven, Pa. on November 29.
