Swimmer receives third-consecutive ACC Swimmer of the Week award

Virginia senior Luke Anderson was awarded his fifth ACC Swimmer of the Week of the season for his stellar performances last weekend against Florida. The award is the 11th of Anderson's career.

Despite No. 10 Virginia's 128-133 loss to No. 3 Florida, Anderson was victorious in both the 100 and 200 freestyle. In the 100 free, Anderson defeated South African gold medalist Darian Townsend with an NCAA-B qualifying time of 44.44 seconds. The senior followed that performance with an ACC season-best time of 1:38.02 in the 200 free.
