The second varsity eight on the Virginia's women's crew team earned the ACC Crew of the Week award this week following its showing at the ACC/Big Ten Dual Regatta last Saturday.
The Cavaliers' second eight defeated Big Ten foe Michigan by 12 seconds with a time of 6:36.8 seconds and rowed past Ohio State with a time of 6:35.4 seconds. Virginia won the dual regatta.
The Virginia crew team hosts its next regatta at Rivanna Reservoir against Michigan State April 2.
