The Virginia women's golf team travels to Nashville, Tenn., Friday, where the team tees off at the Mason Rudolph Fall Preview for the start of its fall season.

The Fall Preview marks the No. 7 Cavaliers' return to the site of their fourth-place finish at the 2011 NCAA Championships - the best finish in program history.

The 54-hole tournament runs Friday through Sunday and draws a slew of the country's elite teams.

The field boasts 18 of the nation's top 25 teams, including each of the top 13, according to Golfweek rankings.

This year's Fall Preview field includes two fellow ACC schools - No. 8 Duke and No. 12 North Carolina - as well as the nation's top-ranked team, Southern California.

Junior Brittany Altomare headlines a Virginia lineup which also includes sophomore Elizabeth Brightwell, junior Nicole Agnello, junior Lauren Greenlief and sophomore Portland Rosen. Altomare, a preseason All-American, led the Cavaliers with a 73.18 scoring average and finished 12th at the NCAA Championships last season.

Virginia finished eighth at the Fall Preview last year.
