LETTER: A letter of encouragement to the University community

With final examinations beginning, we have composed a letter of encouragement for the University community

The period of final examinations is often strenuous.
The period of final examinations is often strenuous.

To the U.Va. community,

The A.N.G.E.L.S. Society wishes the students at the University well in regard to the upcoming final examinations. The past two months have been distressing to all, and the arrival of examinations is no exception to this sentiment. We acknowledge the magnitude of strength necessary to continue the commitment to your studies during these unprecedented times, and we hope that the results of this hard work are in your favor. Regardless of the outcome, we recognize the resilience of the students and are proud of the sustained efforts throughout the uncertainty.

We also wish to recognize that the period of final examinations is often strenuous. Now more than ever, it is of value to take time each day and care for yourself. We empathize with the abundance of stress that accompanies this workload and hope it can also serve as a time to be kind to yourself and those around you. Ultimately, we wish that all members of the University community remain safe, healthy and as joyful as possible.

We are here, we support you and we are thinking of you. Thank you for creating an uplifting space throughout a time full of difficulty.

The A.N.G.E.L.S. Society is a secret society dedicated to reaching out to students and groups who display acts of kindness to their communities.
