The 2015 Tom Tom Founders Festival concluded Sunday after a week of music, art and innovation. This year’s fourth annual festival was the most successful to date, hosting 30 events in nearly 60 locations April 13-19. A total of 26,230 people attended, a 58 percent increase from last year despite the rainy forecast. James Cunningham, the production coordinator of the festival, called the turnout “spectacular.”
The University Education School will begin offering three degrees online starting fall 2015 including an M.Ed. in reading education, M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction and an education specialist degree in reading education.

Five Commerce students plan to launch a March Madness raffle as a philanthropic and academic venture on Mar. 22. The effort is a class project for Asst. Commerce Prof. Jason Williamson’s Project Management course. The assignment requires students to create a sustainable project using seed money from the course.
