In what amounted to a win or go on the road game for the 13th-ranked Cavaliers, the resilient men’s soccer team battled under the lights on senior night against one the top two ACC teams, and one of the best in the country.

Men’s soccer entertains Commonwealth foe JMU

After just three days off following Friday’s game, the Cavaliers (2-0-2, 0-0-1 ACC) host in-state rival James Madison (0-3-1, 0-0 CAA) – a team that was leading at Klöckner stadium last season until an 89th minute Virginia equalizer sent the game to overtime.

No. 5 men’s soccer ties Duke

In their first ACC matchup of the 2015 season, the fifth-ranked Virginia Cavaliers men’s soccer team battled for 110 minutes in Durham, NC to draw a stingy Duke Blue Devils team in two overtimes and remain unbeaten.

Funlola Fagbohun, associate director of the first year experience, describes her experience working with OTP and how she strives to create a welcoming environment for first-years during orientation and beyond.
